Sorry to bother you both but, can I talk with you? There's been something in my mind lately and I would like your opinions on the matter.

[Adell because he has been here for longer and is the leader of the Blue Rogues. Hughes because he trusts the man's opinion and is an adult and the closest thing to his father he has here. Right now, Keiichi would love to be able to have his father around to ask him.]

[Once he sets off the messages, Keiichi will take up to wander around the village. He hasn't dropped by Minato's house since he met Junpei yesterday, he just doesn't know how to look at Minato so he has chosen to avoid him for a bit. He will dedicate his day to visit the flowershop, remembering that girl turned into an airship from the experiment back in January, it has been a while since it happened but... February was too chaotic for him to remember that he wanted to check on her. He will also drop by the Welcome Center to help anyone who may need it there. And the library.

Other than that he may get caught almost anywhere in the village.]

Hey, Keiichi. What can I do for ya?

There haven't been any signs of Takano returning yet, right?

[Minato tends to sleep in on Sundays, but having Keiichi not stop by for lunch is the first strange thing. So he invades the neighbors' house instead... but he isn't there either. And with no one else seeming to know where he went, Minato decides to walk around and try to find him. The town isn't that big, but it will still probably take a while to catch up.]

[One can hear him sigh deeply, though it's hard to know if it's relief or trying to muster courage. He really doesn't know how to start it, even if Hughes says that it's not a bother... Keiichi still feels very self-conscious at the very least.]

Well... You remember about Takano, right? She got kidnapped before the draft and has yet to return.

[By now Keiichi is even less in the mood of meeting Minato. Sure he eventually is going to have to talk with him but... It doesn't have to happen today, right?

So when Keiichi spots Minato wandering around the village he... Feigns to not have seen him and takes a turn to vanish from his sight and keep avoiding him. With some luck Minato himself won't have seen him.]

Is that so? [ In this case he will wait for Keiichi to continue, as kidnappings tend to be a frequent thing. He wouldn't bring it up if it weren't important. ]

None yet, no. At least, none that I'm aware of, but I've been keeping an eye out, and none of the Rogues have reported anything of the sort either.

[If he'd been a little less quick to flee Minato might not have noticed him. But the movement catches his eye, and he recognizes the shirt Keiichi's wearing. He quickens his pace a little and follows after.]

[He could have continued as if nothing. He probably could have pulled off that he hadn't noticed Minato. But Keiichi makes a mistake... He looks over his shoulder and sees Minato following... And increases his own pace and takes another turn trying to lose him.]

Yeah, the thing is... I'm worried about the state she will return. Kidnappings aren't nice experiences and even normal people can return with some sort of side-effects so... I'm worried what mental state she may be upon returning, specially with the syndrome.

[okay that's suspicious. Extremely suspicious. Before it was probably Keiichi not noticing him, but he definitely saw him that time - and then tried to get away. With that, Minato breaks into a run. You are not escaping today young man.]

I'm still worried about how she may return... Specially if we can't get to her before she does something bad in case the syndrome is at a serious stage on her.

[Keiichi stiffens upon hearing Minato break into a run... And he runs as well, trying to lose him. See him turn at basically every corner to try to confuse Minato or something.]

I can't say I blame you for being worried on that front. The Malnosso don't make very considerate hosts.

[See, now it's a good thing he did urban training runs with Mamoru a few times. Minato is faster than you and you know it, even with the weird turns. All that does is make him wonder what's going on even more.

Yeah... The thing is... I'm worried that she will return at the critical stage of the syndrome and hurt someone before anyone who knows about the syndrome and has the medicine can get to her and give her the medicine...

[Yeah, he notices it and it doesn't make him happy at all. See him enter in one of the community buildings and run as fast as possible up the stairs. Hoping that Minato won't be as fast climbing stairs as running around.]

[Too bad he also had practice climbing a tower with hundreds of floors. ...Well granted that was two years ago, but he still makes Tartarus runs in the battle dome sometimes out of nostalgia. He's within ten feet now.]

I'm worried too. But I think if something does happen, she won't get persecuted for it. It's not much of a relief for whoever might get hurt, but at least for Takano herself, if her condition is explained, I doubt anyone's going to blame her explicitly for something that the Malnosso triggered.

Of course, that's just if that scenario happens. You and I would both prefer one where we can get to her before something does happen to protect everyone involved.

[Dammit, Minato, let him run away in peace! See Keiichi desperately do a sprint to get out of his sight for even a moment. The next thing Minato hears will be a door being slammed shut. Guess who has finally opted for hiding in an empty apartment of this floor.]

Yeah, I would prefer that but... I'm... Scared that even if she's not persecuted that the syndrome's existence would be revealed that way it would... Cause problems for everyone.

Yeah, I'm already keeping an eye out for her. And asked Adell to keep an eye on it too, with the Blue Rogues. But still... I just can't help to think how bad it could be if she arrives in critical condition and hurts someone. Even if we get to her and give her the medicine, I'm not sure how the other people in the village will react.

Well, the good thing about Luceti is that there's a surprising number of accepting people here. There might still be concerns about things, but I don't imagine the outcry would be severe or anything. And even if people had a problem with it, the Rogues can take care of it and keep you guys safe.

Of course, that's probably not going to take care of the concerns of anyone with the Syndrome itself, considering you said stress itself can be a trigger, right?

...If that's the case, I'd much rather it be kept as quiet as possible for everyone's sake too. I'll make sure to keep my eyes and ears open as much as possible to make sure things stay this way.
