020th Shattering * Audio / Action
Okay, so... The last week of April, I was an artist, and a productive one despite claiming to be blocked. I've the room full of sketches and paintings, and a few that aren't finished yet but I'll probably get to it eventually.
[It would be silly to just throw them away after all.]
Problem is... I have a lot of them, really, and as much as I like some, I find silly to keep most of them. Besides it's not as if I can sell them, and actually many are kind of slice-of-life themed. Things I witnessed during that week and decided to portray on a whim so some of them could even be considered pictures I suppose, and that's not counting the random portraits I made without anyone asking for them. So, if any of you guys want any of them, the sketches, portraits or paintings, just give a shout and I'll give them to you.
I'll set a stand for today outside my place, House #21, with the sketches and paintings that are up for grabs, so just drop by and have a look if you want them.
[True to his word, there's going to be a stand outside House #21 the whole day, with sketches and paintings on display. The paintings are mostly generic and landscape style though a few may picture a few of the Luceti habitants. The sketches are all from Luceti people, from portrait-like sketches to family scenes, Keiichi spent all his time drawing and painting after all. In fact he will probably be painting, giving the finishing strokes to a couple of paintings he had pending.]
[ooc: Feel free to come up with scenes for the sketches yourselves. Keiichi was pretty much an artistic version of Hughes during that week so he drew many things -of course the amount of sketches isn't as big as of pictures and there's probably like one or two featuring a similar scene, but there may still be ones your chars like. he was actually pretty good at it -must be the genes-.]

Everything ends after awhile.
[Action]
[There's no way or reason to deny it and Keiichi won't even try.]
But that's also the basic principle as to why one must live things to their fullest. That it will end doesn't mean it has to end now or that it's not worth living it.
[Action]
I don't want things to end.
[Action]
[Action]
[Peter Pan? It hadn't been about being a child; she hasn't been one since she started medical school, really.]
[Action]
I just meant it as an example. We're talking about our time here in Luceti, right? The friendships we make and all. I just see it as a stage of life, like being a child or an adult. Those things end and the ending can be so abrupt that it feels forced and unstoppable, but that's how things have to be. If we are never sent back to Earth, the lives we were meant to have there, the lives we could have, will never take place.
I don't want to return yet or any time soon. I would prefer to live here until I'm of old age and then be sent back, it would be the ideal, but if I'm sent back earlier... It'll be all right too, there are things I have to do there, things I look forward to even if all this may be forgotten. But knowing and accepting that doesn't mean I can't embrace my time here to its fullest.
[Action]
[She can mostly keep it to herself to avoid upsetting others, but having it put right in front of her like this... she can't quite keep silent. She hates everything Luceti has done to her and taken from her. She resents every breath she takes here. She'd gladly fight the Malnosso if it would end them.]
[Action]
[But he isn't sure if it's really the Malnosso's fault after all, not at the core of the problem which is them being in Luceti. Being trapped in a village? Yes. Experimented on? Definitively. Brought here from their worlds? That's where he isn't sure.]
[Action]
That's why I want to keep fighting against them. Even against accepting being here.
[Action]
It'll be a hard fight, but I'm sure you will do all right. You're not the only one at it, after all.
[It's her decision after all. Keiichi doesn't agree with that way of acting, he doesn't agree with that thinking or with pushing everyone aside just to fight against some guys who, yes, had done bad but weren't the only ones at fault. It made him think of when he was selfish enough to blame anyone for the things that happened to him and that he didn't like, selfish enough to hate little children for having what he wanted. But if Ami wants to live that way it's her decision, even if he thinks it's something that will just hurt her even more at the end, as the conversation has gone and with the way Ami is? He lacks the words to argue, so he doesn't.]
[Action]
But we haven't been able to make much progress yet.
[Action]
Persistence and patience are the keys for any battle, anyway. Sooner or later it will work.
[Preferably later, or in a way so he and Minato don't have to be forced back just because others want to return to their own places.]
Re: [Action]
Sometimes I don't think so.
[But she can tell enough that she's treading on uncertain ground.]
Thank you very much for today. I should go to finish some things at home.
[Action]
Well, I'm sure that it will work out, specially with you and others working on it. Rushing things won't serve for anything.
[He blinks at her retreating words, but he can't blame her. He has tried to remain neutral on his words but he's too emotional and with the way Ami, herself is, he can't say he's surprised. He offers a sincere smile though.]
Thank you for today, too. It was nice to talk together again after so long. If you decide you want another sketch or something, don't hesitate to drop by or give a call, okay? I'll stick painting for a while after all.
