New year, new life. Isn't that what people say? I suppose in general we can say life is the same for us here, right? But that's how it usually goes, not everyone changes countries, kingdoms or whatever there is in your world, each year, do they? It's in the smaller details where things change and new ones come to us.

Halfassing things like that breaks any charm the story may have, in my opinion. It's as bad as watching Japanese people being stereotyped by American movies and ridiculed.

I've been to Russia, but I haven't explored America yet. I think I would've enjoyed Russia a lot more if there wasn't a war going on.

I would suggest to not leave Japan then, but depending on the reasons for those coincidences to happen you could still end with a war breaking out there.

Well... For Ange it was easy, I suppose. I mean, I was pretty caught with her from the start but I figured it was just friendship and me caring and worrying about her because of similar experiences. So I didn't think too much of it even when I ended sneaking dates with her in some way. But the feelings didn't go away and kept growing, the impulse to just hold her and make her happy no matter what, to protect her from even things I know I have no chance against because I can't stand the idea of her getting hurt without be going down first... I mean, I want to do that for my friends as well. But for Ange is much more intense and instinctive.

Besides, it's easy to know because I have never liked a girl like this. Even if I have had a crush and been in love thanks to the experiments here. Though I suppose it is pretty much like with the experiments but those were odd for the most part.

[That does sound different compared to how he basically treats everyone along with his friends. The only thing he can do is see if these feelings grow or disappear over time.] I see. I've usually seen this kind of thing happen in TV dramas, anime and manga... Mainstream stuff like that. But I've never experienced it myself.

I know. I thought this kind of intensity and such was only from those stories.
