[ How could she mind a kiss from him, really - even if it comes as a slight surprise, considering how caught up she was in her own thoughts. So because of that surprise there's slight hesitation, just for a moment, but then she just kisses back happily. ]

[Yeap, it's going to be bad if he ever has to learn again to live without this. Good thing that's the last of his worries right now. He kisses her softly, none of them are awesome kissers, it's hard to be when you have shared just a few kisses, but he still enjoys it a lot. Maybe most of the joy of it is that it's her whom he's kissing, kind of like when everything tastes better when it's Minato or his mother who makes it.

Once the kiss ends he leans his forehead against hers, touching it lightly.]

Let's see... Now I think we're properly even. Not that it was ever a competition.

[ Hey, at least she's glad he enjoys it even if she hasn't had any experience with kissing beyond the last moments just now here with him. And she's enjoying it as well, so.. that means there's no problem at all with this. Especially when he's close to her like that and looking at her like that, and.. it's enough to almost make her regret not telling him she loves him too earlier so they wouldn't have to wait any longer. ]

If 'getting even' involves all this, then I don't mind making it a competition. [ yes, she's smiling again, not moving her head back but content to just slightly be connected to him like this. ]

Hmm, I suppose not. Only between us both, though.

[He chuckles a bit and hugs her even more tightly, leaning his face against her head and breathing in her scent. He doesn't want today to ever end. But it can't last eternally and they aren't done so... He ends letting her go, one hand falling to take hold of hers.]

[ The Maebara charm, clearly. But she doesn't answer what he's saying, because instead she hears those sounds and she can see the fireworks going off. And.. god, this is so cheesy, it's like the end of some corny romantic movie if they're standing there with him holding her and fireworks, but.. it's not that bad, a simple and happy kind of life, even if it's extremely corny. She can live with that.

So for once Ange will shut up with her deadpan retorts, and instead she leans against him happily. ]
