If he pokes around more, he'll find some fresh onigiri on the kitchen table, along with a handwritten note.
Upstairs, Minato's room is a bit less neat than usual. The closet was left in disarray. The adjacent bedroom is empty, save for a pair of blue and pink plushies.]
[Action, March 24]
If it wasn't for Minako's room being so empty he would have thought that his friend had been kidnapped. He checks the whole house after that, almost expecting to see Minato in a corner sulking, he knows he would do that and part of him wants to sulk but... Minato is more important, he has to find him. He finds the note, eventually... And promptly ignores it, looking at Koromaru seriously.]
Koro-chan, we are going on a hunt. A Minato hunt.
[Hide as well as you can Minato, cause Keiichi isn't going to stop until he finds you :|]

Keiichi just gives a look at the community building they stop at.]
What's up with us and invading empty apartments?
[Unless Minato is actually staying with someone else, which it could be. Though Keiichi is selfish and likes to bet for the option of him being alone.]
I'll tell you something, Koromaru. Next time I try to run away from Minato and the world? I'll go to the hot springs. Bet no one will check there.
[Anyway, entering there now. If Minato's there the trail should be even easier to follow.]

... an elevator? [ She laughs. ] That sounds like an even worse kitchen than mine.
[ But after another moment's walking, they arrive. Of course, right now her house looks like this, which is a little foreboding... her expression is sheepish as they walk up to it. ]
... don't mind the Castle. It looks scary, but it's not so bad inside. [ Just kind of ... gray. ]
[Action, July 30th]
"Don't mind the castle"... That's a good one, Xion. You just sounded like a princess or something, you know, one of those that don't want to be looked at by their position but by themselves. "Don't mind the castle, it's just where I live and into where we're going, but really it's not important".
[Chuckling.]
It's a bit scary though, that's true.

['Even without Koizumi here, it seems I have to go talk to the Vice Chief anyway...']
Maebara, it's [what was that name?]. Look, I need some advice and possibly a favor.
[Voice; December 20th]
Sure, what's wrong?
[Voice; December 20th]
I need to figure out how to get something ... for Haruhi.
[Can you hear the facepalm?]
[Voice; December 20th]
[Oops, that wasn't supposed to be said aloud... But it's Kyon so he probably understands.]
I see... I suppose you never had to do that back on Earth, huh?

[Every time he notices her hand reaching for his, he grabs her hand back calmly and naturally. He ends making sure to always have a hand close to her free so she can find it when she searches for it, but he lets her do the searching, not wanting to make her feel chased or anything. He's there, with her, no matter what or where, if she wants to find him she will do so, if not she can ignore him. That's what he wants to transmit to her after all.
Eventually the festival comes to an end and everyone gathers besides the river, getting ready the cotton pieces to let them drift away following the stream. Keiichi grabs a piece each for both Ange and himself and offers it to her while Rena and the others explain her the significance of what they are doing.]
-The cotton symbolizes the sins you have committed, consciously or not, by thanking Oyashiro-sama and letting the cotton drift away you release yourself from your sins and seek for forgiveness. We also show gratitude to him, our guardian God, for protecting us and blessing us.

There's something slightly nervous about it too though, maybe exactly because it seems like something that important, and after nodding to the others she turns towards Keiichi. ]
We can go together, right..?
no subject
You really think you needed to ask?
[No one would object, even if they weren't just fake simulations. He would nudge her to participate if she didn't decide so herself, though, he himself isn't much of a believer specially hard to be so when he knows that Hanyuu is Oyashiro-sama. But it's fun, and the river looks pretty with all the cotton balls floating away.]

Then, after glancing at Keiichi, she moves to put her own there into the river too. ]

[ Action; January 31st ]
And Battler stomping into the house next to where he lives to have a fist fight with Keiichi would definitely fall under 'escalating'.
So when Ange closes her journal, she quickly looks around the house to find Keiichi. No matter whether he read the journal entry yet or not, she's dragging him out of the house to go somewhere where they're a little less likely to be either found or bothered in general. ]
[ Action; January 31st ]
Ange will find him chilling in the couch watching a movie. Seeing her makes him smile and he stretches a hand inviting her to come.]
Hey, Ange. Want to watch this with me?
no subject
Ah, I don't mind, but.. [ she pauses for a moment, almost awkwardly searching for words. ] Maybe we should go out for a bit instead, doesn't that seem like a good plan too?
[ far away from Battler, at least. ]
no subject
On the other hand, his girlfriend is asking him to go out somewhere. He really isn't the type to say no to such a simple request.]
Honestly I don't really want to go far from home today... But if you want to I don't see why not, where do you want to go? we could also go after this ends so we do both things.

action; september 25th
Her legs are shaking but even so she forces them to walk through the house, trying to find her boyfriend in it. Even though she's in her own house, the place she's lived for so long now, her expression is strangely empty and it's almost as if she looks.. lost. Strangely almost like the day from almost exactly a year ago by now. ]
.. Keiichi..?
action; september 25th
The expression that she's wearing is one he had hoped to never see again. Immensely hurt. Lost. Exhausted. Abandoned.]
Ange...
[He tries to say something but gives up on the idea. Instead he just pulls her close against him, hugging her tightly, so tightly that she could basically merge with him if that was possible. He doesn't need to ask what has happened, her voice, her expression, the lack of light in her eyes, them all tell him the story and it doesn't matter if it has been both of them or just one of them who has been sent back, all that matters is that Ange is left behind again. This time, however, she's not alone, he's there for her even if it's not enough.]
no subject
So slowly but surely she starts crying right there in his arms. Not a loud kind of wailing, though, but it's crying for sure. At first the tiny sobs are barely audible, but then they can be heard by him for sure. At least like this she can hide her face a little against him - as if she's hiding in his arms from the world. Just today, or even for just a bit of today right now, she doesn't want to put up her usual front. ]

[Voice, January 22nd] - To Akihiko's journal
There's only one thing he can think of trying, if that doesn't work... He will keep everything for a few weeks but he will probably have to start considering the idea of disposing of everything or getting a new dog and he's really not in the mood for that.]
Hello, A- eh, Sanada-san. My name's Keiichi Ushiromiya, I am... I was one of Minato's friends here and his housemate and... Eh, sorry for bothering you but, have you seen Koromaru? It has been two days since Minato... He hasn't dropped by home since then and I'm a bit worried, so I wondered if he didn't wander to you since you're as far as I know the only member of the group left around.
[Two days. Two days and his voice still strangles itself as he talks, specially at mentioning Minato's name. He would joke about it being as if he had died rather than just left, but with Minato... It's exactly that.]
[Voice, January 22nd]
But he recognizes the name when Keiichi says it; Minato had talked about his housemates, and he could only imagine how they were handling the situation after knowing Minato for ... however long. They had taken it pretty hard when Minato passed, and those who knew him longest had only a year to know him at all.]
Hey Ushiromiya. [His eyes wander over to Koromaru, who is sleeping by the door.] I have Koromaru with me; I found him wandering around that same day.
[It hadn't really occurred to him at first that Koromaru had come to him for comfort. When the dog did not leave, he had not questioned it.]
Would you like it if he came over to visit? I'm sure he'd appreciate seeing other familiar faces around.
[Voice, January 22nd]
There's a distinct relieved sigh on Keiichi's end when he hears that Koromaru is fine.]
Thank God. I... I was worried that he would have also been sent back...
[He found him wandering around the very same day Minato vanished, huh?]
I guess he was the first one to realize it after all. Animals really have a sixth sense for those things, don't they.
[It's a comment mostly to himself, because besides all the pain he already has, Keiichi is stupid enough to blame himself. As if he could have done anything to avoid this. As if he could have realized it any earlier than he did and send the message, despite knowing that the moment he saw the empty room he could do nothing but crumble right there.
Akihiko's voice distracts him from his thoughts and he smiles a bit. He's not sure if Koromaru would appreciate it or not, but he sure as hell would.]
Yeah! I would like it! I mean, if it's not much of a bother. You could come with him for dinner or something. Eh, my fiancée and me aren't as good cooks as he was but he taught us several things and we wouldn't mind the company, plus seeing Koromaru again will be... Good.
[Voice, January 22nd]
[Voice, January 22nd] - Sorry for the late
