I want to. Honestly if it hadn't been because the girls came and your house was full I would have asked this before, probably. Though it's good that I didn't, after all I would have done it just out of desperation. But now... I just want to.

[He could have even considered asking while Minako was still there if it hasn't been because the crazy weeks he had had and because he wanted to wait until he was better friends with Minako as well.]

I asked Haruhi about it, she's pretty much labeled the Council as the Brigade's enemy.

Because the Council is obviously trying to get into the Brigade's territory, basically. It starts with the school but there's not enough to be done there so soon they will be making festivals and clubs and soon they will be trying to make even a better Tanabata event than the Brigade and thus take away interest and potential members from the Brigade.

[It's easy to see that he's just repeating what Haruhi said, not voicing his own opinion.]

Also, maybe it's because she knows you're bond to be involved, you know how she's with you.

I kind of played with her vision of things to my advantage to convince her.

Well, if I do I'll be supposed to be a mole, though since I doubt the Council will be really going into "Brigade's territory" there shouldn't be a problem. Maybe I could even manage to make it so if the Council does something the Brigade will do something else that helps to complement that or something like that. But that would be the biggest problem, I doubt Haruhi really cares about school management.

I know, but on the other hand, knowing how she is this may not be bad. She's pretty competitive so she will probably put even more effort in organizing things and such. I don't see how a motivated Haruhi may be a bad thing.
