Have you ever ice-skated? We could go to the lake, I don't think it will snow today despite how the sky looks.
[Open to all]
While I appreciate the effort from the Malnosso to bring in the Christmas mood... I still would have preferred to be able to decorate the house myself and decide what lights it has and all that. Guess we could still do it despite this.
How many of you are spending Christmas here for the first time? Or even hearing the term Christmas for the first time, I guess there are many of those. If you're curious, Christmas is basically a winter holiday, it has religious background but it also has a pagan tradition. Back on Earth many different religions and countries have it or an equivalent holiday. In simple terms it's a way to celebrate the end of the year and the start of the new one, also there's a tradition of giving and receiving gifts on the 25th, which is Christmas day. Or getting them from Santa Claus, or the Malnosso like last year.
It's a holiday to spend with friends, family and loved ones... Does everyone have someone to celebrate it with?

By the way, anyone has some advice to share regarding what to do for a special girl on Christmas? I don't mean regarding gifts, I have that covered, but... You know, getting her somewhere or doing something special, I suppose. It doesn't have to be necessarily romantic, it's preferred if it's not too romantic, even.

[ There might be something very sliightly awkward about talking normally right now, since she of course can't really stop thinking about that happened during the horoscope event, but.. well, it's been more than a week already now, and they live in the same house either way, so with some effort she manages to put up her usual casual pokerface attitude. ]
No, I've never done it before. I don't mind going there, but won't I just make an idiot out of myself in that case?
[ voice // filtered ]
I'm not an expert either, so probably we will just make idiots of ourselves. But if no one is watching it should be okay, we can learn together.
[ voice // filtered ]
[ Slipping back in her usual deadpan is still the best way of dealing with this until she can figure out her own feelings, really. But they are undoubtly there, it's just.. she really doesn't know how to deal with them, and she constantly feels like there's still something holding her back, keeping her from taking that final step.
... The courage for that final step.. just like that night on the skyscraper, wasn't it. ]
Did you want to go right now?

Ice fishing. Baking. Still life painting. Rock climbing.
[voice] // filtered
You would take a girl to do those things?

The main attraction in a date isn't the scenery, but the person you're dating. Spending time together is the most important aspect.

If my command of Western movies and culture serves me properly, "all I want for Christmas is you" is the typical policy.
voice; filtered
[But it's something imposed rather than something she liked by herself.]
It's also kind of why I wanted to do something with her beyond just gifts or whatever.

Well, actually, chestnuts are one of them, right? And a fire. The weather outside being frightful, et cetera.

Personally, this would be my second Christmas here in Luceti.
[Voice]
[Or just materials for his handworks, since he decided to do gifts with his own hands -at least partially-, he has been raiding the item store for those more and more.]
Really? It's my second Christmas here as well, which month did you arrive in?
[Voice]
[His MP3's library can get old after a while.]
Around...near the end of August or so.

[Crush? Girlfriend? Ohohoho. Atsuro can't help but tease at least a little. He's got enough cojones to tease Kaido about this kind of stuff, anyway.
And Ange.][voice; filtered]

Forget he still doesn't know much about Christmas. This requires his attention posthaste.]
Happy to help! But first--If you're going to be spending time with a lovely, special girl, then why wouldn't you want it to be romantic? It could be the perfect opportunity!
voice; filtered
It could be, but she's not used to those advances from what I can tell. Or to just people being nice with her. I don't want her to feel overwhelmed and for it to backfire, so while I want it to be special it can't be too much romantic or she may take it wrong after all.
voice; filtered
Well, we wouldn't want that to happen. [THINKING.] Maybe you can make her a nice, home-cooked meal. You'll still be putting forth effort, but it doesn't necessarily have to be romantic.
[But it certainly can be!]
